Buying a flight with a transfer and only using one half
I am looking at the cheapest flight options for my summer Europe trip. I saw a very good deal on JFK-Paris flight via Moscow. Russia was on my itinerary for the travel, and so to save money, I wanted to do this:
- Take the flight from JFK to Moscow, switch planes and then fly to Paris. - -
- Take the train across Europe back to Moscow, and then use the second half of my return ticket. So, I would throw out the Paris-Moscow part and just board at transfer point.
Would this theoretically speaking be possible?
Thanks a lot in advance.
