I don't really read German, but it appears the newspaper called them "Nudescanner" (Nacktscanner) and "body scanner" (Körperscanner). Do you know if the German government or airport officials use these terms as well?
In the US, TSA uses neutral terms like "Advanced Imaging Technology" instead to try to distract people from the "nude" or "body" aspect.
