I called and had my CO Chase debit card changed to the no-fee card yesterday. I derived nothing from the debit card anyway but as the diminution of benefits continues, so does my loyalty and business.
Last year it was the loss of getting double miles at brick and morter merchants.

I would wager that CO has been sticking it to them more and more to the point where it forces Chase to respond in kind.
