If I was the GA, I may not have said anything to the OP, but I sure would have a good laugh with my colleagues in the break room, just like we do at our place of business when we see a customer doing something silly.
MRs are silly in the real world, so don't blame the GA for being a real person. We all are, so look in the mirror sometime.
My advice to the OP, don't fly unless you have to to make some money, or your are going someplace fun. Flying to just sit on an airplane and in airports is SILLY!
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion on this, but I, for one, don’t share it.
Lots of people on this forum do fly to make a living. I, however, have already made mine and I enjoy flying for fun. Judging from sites like airliners.net, I feel pretty comfortable that I’m not alone.
BTW, your break room sounds like a scream.
