If you read the thread I think you will find for the most part everybody has said that is unacceptable. Beyond that there was not a lot that could be done but it is only human, if you are a TA, to put more effort into helping the Honeymoon couple than a guy going literally nowhere. Surely the OP would agree if one seat was left that it should go to the person who has a real reason to go.
