Royal Hawaiian is two blocks from Moana Surfrider... it takes about 5 minutes to walk. There is an Outrigger hotel and a few shops between the properties. It will take you 15 minutes with heavy presentation equipment.

It rains often in Honolulu so you do not want to stay too far.
