I appreciate the comments, and specific testimonials about the Moana Surfrider. Unfortunately I have to lug trade show materials from our exhibit hall booth to my room at least twice a day for four days. Using a hotel that is even a quarter mile away can be a big hassle. So my assumption is that I'll have to use one of the two adjacent properties.

At the moment, I'm leaning toward the Historic Garden Room at the Royal Hawaiian. Price is not a great factor, as it is a drop in the bucket compared to the overall cost of two or three people coming from the mainland and attending to our trade show booth.
