not withstandng the treatment the OP says they received in MSP, DL put weather waivers for the Midwest in to effect a day before the storms came. I mean what is happening in MSP is crazy, the Metrodome roof collapsed due to snow. Anyone who would attempt a run during this storm has to expect delays. You have no where to be, so you just have to roll with whatever happens. You say this is your first MR, so I am sure you did not plan for the "what if the storm of the century happens" scenario.

Since you will never fly DL again, then just have them get you home anyway or airline they can. This is not their fault. They gave everyone an opt out and you chose to fly anyway.
