I always fly first class either by paying first class or upgrading. We just went from Eugene, Oregon to Las Vegas, Nevada. Going down only got a small salad with a bag of nuts. Not good for first class. But on the way back, this is a FIRST for first class. We checked in 90 minutes early. It was one of those flights that you can upgrade with the MVP upgrades cards they give you(uc10 or something like that). We already had our seat assignments. They gave us our boarding passes. When we went to board they had sold our seats and had us booked in coach. They said we weren't there on time(we were 15 minutes early). But they said we could get on our coach seats they had for us. They said the pilot wanted to leave early. If that's the case his name must have been MR ALASKA. We had to wait a day(spend another night in Vegas), flew out the next morning to Seattle, got there at 9:15 AM and didn't fly out to Eugene until 5:40 PM(then had to get a motel in Eugene).We got home and I called them and I had to raise heck to even get 100.00 off on our next trip. I figured that the least they could have done was give us two round tickets for our next flight. That's what they used to do when you're bumped out of your seats(that happened to me once). We had extra motel expense, cab fare plus don't forget the most fun part of our trip. We had the PLEASURE of SPENDING EIGHT WONDERFUL HOURS at Sea Tac Airport.
