I'd appreciate a fuller comparison of the food and drinks available in the other clubs. As it looks like I won't make DM for the coming year I'm trying to decide whether to renew my SkyClub membership or do the AAdmirals Club. It partly depends on who I'll be flying most and where, but service and amenities are important.
Likelihood of getting a Wall Street Journal at 9 am?
Food at breakfast time?
Food in the afternoon/evening?
Quality of internet service?
Empty glasses and trash picked up promptly?
Adequate bathrooms?
Quiet areas?
Plenty of electrical outlets?
I have to say DL is moving in the right direction in the food and beverage department. Hot oatmeal, blueberry yogurt, and cinnamon raisin bagels for breakfast in MEM this week, and hot soup in the evening. They still have a way to go to match the AS Board Room but they're getting better.

DL has complete control over how "popular" their clubs are. They could raise prices and limit the number of ways people can get in, thereby creating a better atmosphere for those who do get in. Or they can do Amex promos, hawk day passes aggressively, and try to cram in every person they can get.
