Not quite the Middle East as we know it, i.e. Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria and Tunisia.

So if you live in one of these "Middle Eastern" countries you are deemed to be in Europe for flight award purposes ! Simple really !!
