I too was there last weekend and had a pleasant experience. I read the boards before going and saw what appeared to be a frightful event- poor service, non-existent shuttle, old rooms and few facilities.

Shuttle service- waiting for me outside of American terminal. The following morning there were 2 shuttle buses at the door going to the airport.

Rooms- extremely nice on SPG floor, upgraded as Gold. Enough bathroom amenities to last a week for 1 person! Nice decorations that you would come to expect of a Westin, albeit an airport property.

Facilities- pool was open at night and heated. Gym is under renovation as is the new planned executive lounge.
