1P in 2010 (lite by ~8k, made on DEQM)
1P again for 2011 - 56K on UA
$5600 spend (4700 business, 900 personal)

Status certainly affected my spending. Started flying 3 years ago. Was 2P in 08,09 and got a taste of 1P last year. Was going to be about 2k short so did my first MR earlier this week SEA-IAD-MIA-ORD-SEA using an ecert. Already addicted. My GF and friends think I am crazy "You are just flying for the miles?" "You aren't even leaving the airport". Will travel more for work in 2011, have 2 e certs to use and just got the UA Chase card so setting a goal to fly at least 75K next year and possibly 100k. Have really enjoyed using FT and the advice I've been given.

Used to fly the cheapest fares, but once I got status I realized it made sense to fly with UA. I understand my sample data is small with only 3 years of flying and only 150K lifetime miles but I think I would fly United even w/o status. Have had good and bad experiences with DL, AA and Alaskan. Enjoy the service I get most of the time from UA. UA gets me anywhere I need to from SEA so unless that changes I'll be around for a while
