The late night arrival of JL001 certainly makes it impractical to make a reasonable transfer to NRT.

In previous trips to NGO, I'd take AA169 then connect to the evening codeshare flight.

However, in booking a recent trip through HND to NGO, I opted against an early-morning connection in NRT. I resigned instead to overnighting at the Jal City Haneda Hotel after my JL001 arrival, then taking a train down to Nagoya the following morning.

Jal City Haneda is cheaper than the airport hotel, but it's a pain to take the free shuttle over there, since it stops running from the International terminal after JL001 arrives. I ended up hopping on an airport shuttle to the domestic terminal, then transferring to the hotel shuttle from there, an inconvenience I prefer not to have this late at night. If I had to do it again, I'd hop in a taxi instead.
