Hmmm, achieve 1K...or fly on the company jet? A friend is currently a few thousand short of 1K, but they were going to cover that amount with one last trip this month on company business. Then the boss decided to fly out on the corporate jet to the same event with other higher-ups, and graciously invited my friend to fly out with them.

I think it'll be hard to say, "hey, so...thanks for the offer, but I, um, prefer to fly commercial, sorry!"

Trying to convince them to do a MR to get the best of both worlds.
