The Westin Arlington Gateway told me that their lounge is closed now from Mid-November through mid-January. It was reported on FT that it was also closed for a month or two in late summer 2010. No apology was offered and when I asked about alternative amenities such as a coupon for breakfast, the answer was no, they're not required to do this.
