I agree with the OP! While I understand supply & demand, it would seem that DL is the only airline anticipating a huge demand for this event. I will be working the event and have been looking at fares quite frequently. From my home airport, DL wants over $1k whereas every other carrier is $250-$400. It's a connection any way you slice it (except WN), so I fail to see how they feel they can get such a high premium over other carriers. Company travel policy = lowest available fare = not flying DL to BCS game for me.
