Flew coach on 1881 EWR-SEA last night. Bought my son and me two containers of BOB cold Asian noodles. $4.50 each, and the containers were only filled two-thirds full, and the food was gone in 90 seconds. Absolutely a ripoff.

Well, then, New Jersey is a pretty expensive place to eat, because we bought backup sandwiches from a concourse dely $ $7.49 apiece, three for over $25, that compared poorly to baguette sandwiches we get from Safeway @ $1.99 a throw.
So between the sandwiches and the noodles we spent $35.00 for dinner for two in row 35 that was pretty grim. We'd flown out to NYC the previous day on US and except for the DirecTV, US was better in coach in every way. I'm as surprised as anyone else to hear myself say that.
