Thank you all for your comments. I know they are allowable inside a luggage.. But I just wanted to be on the safe side, especially when carrying lots of holiday gifts and not wanting any nimble fingers touch it just because the paint alarms them.

Come to think of it, I might just have to carry it with me in my luggage. Or I can always stow it inside my carry-on.

rjw242, actually the item does look like a nail polish. It looks like a pen with a ball point head, with a brush inside. Maybe they would treat it like a nail polish like you said?

I'll let you guys know what happens at the airport then!
