It was a beautiful day in Barcelona, sunny and mid 50's. We stayed at Villa Emilia, which I can't recommend highly enough. $115/night! Great location, here's a few photos:

Again, I had been apprehensive about this flight since it's close to 9 hours on a 757 in the back of Y - not to mention this flight is regularly delayed and diverted in winter. However, it was a fantastic flight and the AVOD made all the difference. I even managed 5 hours of sleep. Air time was 8hours 11 minutes and before I knew it we were on descent into EWR. Funny sidestory, the remaining flight time on the AVOD sometimes doesn't change until you press a button - you could imagine the feeling of waking up from what I thought was a long sleep and seeing 6hrs 45 minutes remaining...luckily it was only 2 and change.
