I am 6'6" and just can not sit those awful CO coach seats unless I am in the exit row.

I would hope that DL would match me to the same level (Plat) and was wondering if there are any other ex-CO flyers who have made a similar switch? If so, are you happy with the move?

I live in western NJ so would primarily fly out of EWR or ABE and have to connect. Hate the idea of losing all my direct flights on CO out of EWR, but excruciating pain more of a motivating factor!

Any advice woule be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I am not sure you will be any more comfortable on DL RJ's out of ABE. FWIW, though, my DL upgrade % out of EWR is much higher than I had on CO and term B is very easy to get in and out.

It really depends on where you fly. If you are flying to the west coast, DL is not bad because of convenient routings and comparatively better upgrades (vs CO EWR-SFO or LAX for example) through DTW, MSP, SLC.

However, if you fly to Florida or points South, you are going to have to change in ATL, which might be more hassle than it is worth. If you fly to Europe, you will have to either drive even further to JFK or connect in AMS/CDG. Short hops (BOS, ROC, etc) really aren't possible on DL out of EWR. Since my travel is the latter three cases, I decided to switch back to CO.
