IROPs should be handled at the expense of DL, not on the backs of other elites. Thats a good point. And it sounds like from another poster the reason why they re-book into Y is the rigid IT systems saying everything is sold out except for Y. I guess the 50% Y bonus on irrops was causing enough of an overall mileage boost for Delta to finally take action
