DL Bonus Miles

He called SMS and they said it was because his original fare was T class so they don't credit miles when rebooked into Y like that.

However when I check my statements from various irrops over the last year when I was rebooked in Y class and even F class sometimes, I always got the 50% bonus...even a couple times when I SDC and the gate agent put me into Y for some reason from a T fare, I got the 50% bonus.

So is this a new thing for Delta, or is it really technical depending when and when you do not receive the Y fare class bonus?
I think with technology and occasional mistakes we all make, one must take the good with the not-s-good. This has happened to me, and it has not happened to me. I have even received miles and MQMs for award tickets.

Just fly safely and let the miles roll or not. Enjoy the season.
