So is this a new thing for Delta, or is it really technical depending when and when you do not receive the Y fare class bonus?
I think with technology and occasional mistakes we all make, one must take the good with the not-s-good. This has happened to me, and it has not happened to me. I have even received miles and MQMs for award tickets.
Just fly safely and let the miles roll or not. Enjoy the season.
