It was a mistake in the past that you did get the 50% bonus, sounds like they have closed that loophole. It was inconsistant anyway, sometimes people got it, sometimes they didn't. It probably had to do with how the GA rebooked you.

All in all, you aren't losing anything, just not taking advantage of the system if you don't get the bonus.
