Just some updates. Had a discussion with hotel on upgrades for Amb (not RA) from lowest Resort Classic room and after a bit back and forth was told Singaraja room. In the old days in 2007 or so I was told Resort Classic suite but that may have changed. Fine either way.

I also inquired why Club rooms are excluded from the Ambassador Certificate rate booking (new FWNC / BOGO) and was advised that they are looking into that and that a 150USD surcharge could be applied to get a Club room which is pretty much in line with the cost difference as per best flexible rate. Seems fair but am qualifying if it would have to be paid for first night only or also for the certificate night which would not be nice.

For now I think I will stick to the Singaraja room (upgraded) that I have as one really can eat a lot for 150USD in Bali .
