As the thread says, Accident & Emergency treatment is free. It is difficult to imagine what else you could possibly need, since anything that happened to you in the UK would involve you going through A&E in almost every scenario. Obviously getting home etc is at your cost but this involves a very modest amount of insurance cover - nothing like the ludicrous $2m or so of cover you need before entering the US!
