I am curious what the number under my name on the paper under where the card was glued is. My number this year is 0024xxx, last year it was 0004xxx (I xxx the last 3 digits). My wife who got her 1P card today also, has a number 0042xxx.
Didn't the drink chits expire in June 2011 from the kit last year? This year they expire Jan 2011...
I received my 1K kit in Monday's mail
, after re-qualifying in early October. The EQM balance they have printed is from mid-November.
The kit's cover page has a pic of a 747 rising through the clouds, but with no color scheme. The ten drink chits come on a wider piece of pre-folded glossy paper (with a picture of a wine glass on the front-left of each chit),
expiring January 31, 2012 instead of the usual June end. The bar code on the back of the chit is a lot bigger than before. The 1K card looks nearly identical to previous years, with only the following differences on the back of the card: 1) magnetic strip is now silver. 2) there's some extra verbiage at the bottom: For Star Alliance Gold benefits, see united.com/staralliance. 3) the top right corner "1K(UALEQ10) 1/10"
This year, the number printed under my name, on the 1K kit's folder, is: 0015###
I wish they would give us more GTEMs, instead of just the usual three. I've written this suggestion, everytime I had a chance to on those UALsurveys.
