The reporter from CNN flies Delta. I sat next to her on my flight from ATL-LGA after spending the weekend in Charleston on Oct 17. We were both upgraded and I mentioned how I flew from Charleston to ATL - LGA instead of going direct so that I could get a few more miles. She said I was crazy. We spent a while talking about flying etc I had done a mileage run 2 weekends earlier...I said if you want to see crazy spend some time on the Flyertalk forum. I gave her a brief overview of what goes on and wrote down the web address for her. She mentioned that she wanted to make a story out of it but I can't believe it actually happened. Very very cool to see.
