Japan Air Carriers Offer Cheap Biz-Class Tickets
TOKYO (Nikkei)--Japanese air carriers are offering deep discounts on their business-class tickets for international routes, attempting to attract more leisure travellers to boost occupancy rates.
Business class is now used more often for leisure travel. (Narita Airport)
Business travel demand, which fell sharply after the onset of the global financial crisis in fall 2008, has begun to improve, but has yet to return the pre-crisis level.
All Nippon Airways Co. (9202) is selling pairs of round-trip tickets for 474,800 yen for weekday flights from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Los Angeles sometime between January and March.
The price, which comes to 237,400 yen per ticket, is roughly 17% less than the cheapest business-class ticket available until recently.

That two ticket deal for HND-LAX on NH is pretty interesting, but you obviously would have to find a companion. I take it you're not interested, JALPak?
