I joined recently, receiving extra status thanks to one of the posters' offers. Although I've already stayed five nights, it seems that since the client directly was billed for those nights, I did not receive any Starwood points.

But when it comes to meals billed to the room, I paid for those out of my own pocket. I also received zero points.

Since I am so new, I have not received any membership materials or rules yet, so can someone please tell me if, like at Marriott, I should at least earn some points for items paid by myself during my stay, such as at the restaurant, or phone charges?
