You dont necessarily need to buy full fare ticket. Thats just in case you forgot to cancel the ticket in 24 hours.

Thats excellent information snod08! Thanks a bunch!! But a quick question? Will CO actually let you get away with that. I mean yes you are paying money for the extra miles, but you are not flying... can you still keep those extra miles for the trip (including elite miles) without actually completing the trip?
