In response to the post by Jea Knowlton from Starwood, I called platinum concierge to make a reservation for Thursday night at the Century Plaza. After the reservation was set up and the guarantee was made, the agent said: "By the way, the pool is closed
will that be a problem?". I asked if that was the only problem. The agent assured me that was it.

Sorry Jea, the home office does not know what is going on. Unless of course Starwood thinks a closed lobby, no bar and a torn up front entrance is nothing that should concern a guest.
