So I actually just got a refund voucher from AA in the mail. (For those who haven't seen one before, it comes in those old school paper ticket "booklets" - with pages of fine print, conditions of contract, and perforated pages for the tickets/vouchers.)
In big bold letters on the back cover, it says:
e_TRAVEL
__DOCUMENT
__SERVICE
Maybe the "e" doesn't stand for electronic? Or perhaps they're counting it as an "e"-ticket because they "electronically" printed it on card stock?
