So I have met many FTers over the years and just recently one in Hong Kong and one in Melbourne AUS and both were fantastic to have a drink and chat with. Let's face it, we have more in common than not regardless of specific stances on specific issues. It is always great to put a name to a face and I think it helps us all understand better the perspective each of us has on DL and the SM program. I say it all the time: There are many back and forth posts here that would never happen if people actually moved out of the Cyber "space" that is FT and actually got to know some fellow travellers.

Is it time to set up a travel calendar specific to the DL forum for mini-DO/ "have a drink" meet ups? Nothing formal just an FYI will do and if anybody want to meet just PM.

Anyway, as far as Avidflyer is concerned:

12/18 will be in DTW for a few hours in the afternoon

12/19-12/25 Boston area. Will meet up just about anywhere from BOS up to MHT

12/31-1/3 SFO. Again, happy to meet anyone from Menlo Park all the way to the city.

1/4 - 1/12 LA. (Home) I live in Malibu and can go as far south as LB.

1/13 - 1/24 London (Hyde Park area)

1/25 - 1/28 Amsterdam. At the airport but can meet anywhere in the city.
