Well Y and J are two different sets of seats. Separate supply and separate demand, why would the prices be linked?
Having Y be packed to the rafters and J empty does mean perhaps there's a chance of the elusive op-up though
Seat maps are notoriously unreliable. Lots of people buy tickets without assigning seats, especially in J. Lots of people also cancel tickets and you have no idea how many of those are latitude and likely to cancel or restricted tickets that probably won't.
