I think to live in one of those buildings, you or your company have to be loaded. And if FTers were that loaded, they wouldn't need to worry about points promotions, gold status, etc. Unless they were Warren Buffet or something. For that matter, I don't think people that loaded would even use mass transportation. Except Warren Buffet or something.
I just think this view is false. I looking at a condo at the W hotel for around 350k. Its expensive but no so expensive that I have to not worry about public transport or travel. ( I bet many FTers have homes more expensive than that) I still collect points furiously. and watch every penny.
I was mostly curious about how Residents get treated vs say a platinum member. They told me residents have their own status they are put in the system and I was wondering how that ranked compared to say platinum.
