One of my co-workers, who travels frequently between Japan and China/Korea, told me that restricted business class often prices out cheaper for him than unrestricted economy class. Unfortunately for him, the poorly-conceived corporate travel policy mandates buying refundable Y on short trips, even when cheaper C is available.
