The former Westin Hotel on Sherbrooke (across from McGill) is now under the Omni flag. The Four Points Hotels and Suites on Sherbrooke is a former Howard Johnsons property.

Andrew: I was at the Wyndham property a month ago. Lots of renovations since it was the Hotel Complexe Desjardin. A nice lobby, located several floors up from ground level. They also have really nice bathrooms in the lobby ... If you're looking for a hotel that offers more points, I think the Hotel Intercontinental in Old Montreal offers 500 Cdn Plus points PER DAY, but you better check with them just to be sure. Great accomodations and service.

My only complaint with the Le centre Sheraton is that their lovely Club Lounge charges guests an amazing $3.50 (excluding tip) for a NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINK (i.e. Coke). How much do they want for a beer???

If you have an unlimited expense account, stay at Lowes Hotel Vogue. It's the tops in the city!
