No, I've always had it say 'coupon will be applied at end of rental' and have never had a problem. Just make sure it has the six-digit coupon code listed on there and you'll be fine. If they don't apply it for whatever odd reason at the end of the rental (besides you voiding the coupon, such as returning a weekly rental 4 days in), call corporate and they will adjust it for you.
