Your second sentence is even more interesting... We are flying already spread between Christmas and the New year. If we "Triple Elite Miles", you are saying that not only will the first segment be posted in 2010, but the "bonus elite miles" will ALL post in 2010? So if we are taking a 2000 mile R/T, 1000 miles in Dec and 1000 miles in Jan, and we "triple", that he will get 5000 miles posted to 2010, and the remainder 1000 posted in 2011??? If this is correct, this could work out very well indeed!
