hi all-

i'm trying to get my last 10k miles on UA, but want to get this done with a long trip somewhere, say CDG, DME or somewhere in europe and east of that.

prices are ok via the UA website, but it seems kind of a shame not to fly on a *A partner that specializes/caters to that route. i've checked out airfrance for the CDG destination but it's $200 more than flying UA metal. if it makes that big of a difference, then i'm certainly game to pay for the IFE, service, etc..

any recommendations on airline and destination? i'll be flying economy, would like to stay away from ORD as a stop (just in case of snow storms!), and would like to keep the ticket around USD$1000.
