To many people, no doubt including many Hilton reps, the name Priceline conjurs up the "name your own price" bid system in one's mind. And using that Priceline product
is against any chain's BRG terms and conditions.
While I agree Hilton would deny Conrad's grandmother a winning BRG claim, whenever you use Priceline in BRG discussion with a hotel chain, you need to make clear it's not the "name your own price" style but rather their retail product which is no different than sites like Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc.
