Are nights calculated and credited toward yearly thresholds using: checkIN date? CheckOUT date? Year for which there were more nights (eg, check in Dec 25, 2010 check out Jan 2, 2011 would post for 2010 because more of the nights were in 2010)? Exact number of nights stayed in each year? (I would receive 7 nights 2010, 1 night 2011)

My experience with Hilton was that it depended on check-out date or even maybe when the points were credited. I had a stay that checking in on 12/30 and checking out on 1/1, and the stay counted in the new year, although technically the nights I stayed were 12/30 and 12/31.
