Welcome, wesmanz! You may want to consider looking in the AAdvantage forum, especially at the threat titled Is PLT / Platinum worth it? What are the benefits? (consolidated). This would probably be the best place to look for others' assessment of the value of AAdvantage Platinum, as well as ask any questions of other AAdvantage FTers about your own habits and how much Platinum may benefit you.
