Same way with doing an online reservation. The system will only let you do a reservation in the primary member's name.
I solve this by doing a reservation, then emailing the Diamond desk and asking them to change the name from mine to hers.
The advantage to doing it this way, is that the stay credit/points have always posted using this method.
I discovered a way to make an online reservation for the spousal member of the a Diamond mutual fund account: Do not login.
Then make the reservation per usual using the spouse's name, but adding, of course, all the info that is usually pre-filled-in when you have logged in (name, address, phone, credit card, etc.) and
make sure you add your HHonors mutual fund account # in the "HHonors number" box.
The reservation now shows up online in my/our upcoming reservations.
