ISTM that what you are looking at is the seatmap for a 48J 3-class 777 but only seeing the front cabin which does indeed have 32 seats - 4 in row 1, 8 each in rows 2, 3 and 4, and 4 in row 5. The remaining 16 J seats are the other side of the exit / galley whatever.
What an odd seating config... i have never seen this before.
As it is IAD, it wouldn't suprise me if it is a 767 with 4*6 CW seats.
Edit: I just did a dummy booking - it is indeed a 767! You should be moved to a flight which has F (if you booked F that is, I just noticed you didn't mention whether you booked F or J)
