Where are you flying from/to on EK? And in what class? More than likely you'll be on a 777.

Like the guys have said above, no extra mileage. If you think you might be flying EK more than once, you might consider joining Skywards, EK's own FFP.

And what to expect? The worlds best IFE for one. And seat back screens in coach. Good ones. Power in every seat (again, even in coach, where there are 2 outlets shared between 3 seats).

As opposed to UA.

UA have In Flight Entertainment. But it's normally provided by the passengers. Like when they try the "food" for the very first time in Y. Or they run out of alcohol.

You'll like "Bling-Air". The crew are typically always upbeat, the planes are new, everything works (mostly), and they have a great lounge network (if you're fortunate enough to be in a premium cabin and can use them).
