I had a nice stay there on a free friday a couple months ago. It was sold out that night, and they didn't upgrade me (I'm SPG Platinum) and claimed it was their policy not to give upgrades on free fridays (I'm dubious about that one!) But, when I got to the room I had no complaints at all. It was large, very well appointed and had a very nice feel to it. My meetings were all in another hotel, so I didn't really see anything of the Westin but my room and the lobby. It seemed very nice. Parking cost a fortune ($30/day). So, if you really want to stay there, I reccomend staying at lots of cheaper Starwoods and getting your free fridays and saturdays and then booking well in advance...
