This is ridiculous! The fact that Hertz bills itself as a premium car rental company and does not offer complimentary roadside assistance is beyond me. They don't even offer you to purchase one, and in the moment of crisis hit you up with exuberant roadside assistance charges?
Like I said in my earlier post, I have been renting from Hertz pretty much exclusively over the last 10 years, but after my incident I will be calling all major car rental companies to inquire about their roadside assistance policies...
