I took these flights in 2008/2009 in Y.

Indeed it is a narrow body, but the level of comfort is not too bad (better than in a 3-4-3 777 IMHO).
No IFE, but since the number of seats is low, the meal service is quite fast (flights were not dry), which is useful for the return flight where you want to sleep as much as possible (if I remember well there was a light snack after departure, and a hot breakfast before arriving in CDG).

In any case, when flying back from Riyadh, you are so happy to leave the place you would find any airline good!
